Doggy Daycare
I never knew that such a thing existed. I was introduced to this concept by my dog park friends and I chose to take the dogs there one day because apparently they howl ALL day while I am at work. Upon arriving at said daycare, I was surprised to see how many dogs were there! What a grand business idea! It cost somewhere between $55-$60 for me to leave my pups for the day. I was appalled and then I wondered how the average person could afford to do this every day? It's a great service because when I picked the pups up they were exhausted and slept through the night. Unfortunately, I don't have that kind of money laying around so they visited the doggy daycare only a handful of times.

The Incredible EXPANDING Husky
Buddha has been growing so fast that I can hardly believe my eyes. I take so many pictures of these little guys but I was so shocked to see the difference from the very first day that we picked him up. He was my little Eeyore but now he is getting LONGER and certainly heavier. It's an awkward growth process for this little husky but he still continues to make everybody around him happy.
Side note: Buddha has always had a very sensitive stomach. He was on a prescription diet for a very long time and was not putting on any weight. We tried everything! He can't have Milk Bones or any basic dog foods. Gourmet foods here we come! We heard great things about Blue Buffalo and the dogs loved the selections. The dry food and wet food were so yummy that the boys licked their bowls dry. This was an easy brand to get because it was at Petsmart. Unfortunately, both of the boys developed stomach problems and we had to abandon ship on Blue Buffalo. But there are times when I will mix the wet food with their dry food.
We moved on to another brand known as Wellness. My sister introduced us to this product and frankly the packaging, logo and design are genius. It makes you feel happy and wholesome! I particularly like the fact that fruits and vegetables are an integral part of this food. We stuck with this for a while but all good things come to an end. Buddha began developing a sensitivity to this food and so we kept giving them the treats but moved on to another genre of dog food.
The "Whole Foods" of the doggy world known as "Bark" offers so many alternatives to the average puppy diet. We chose to go with Great Life because it is a freeze dried raw food with pro biotics. Even though it's a bit more expensive, the dogs love it and they don't have any stomach problems. Problem solved. Now I need to figure out a way to eat as well as my dogs do...

Preparing for a wedding
I have no problem with multitasking. I actually prefer it that way because I am always busy and there is always a schedule on hand. The wedding is not until August but the preparations have already begun. I have picked out the wedding dress, the colors, the flowers, etc., etc., BLAH! I don't really like getting help from anyone...even the bridal party! Woah CONTROL freak. It's just that I have trust in myself to get things done fast and the right way. The only thing that is no good is that the pups can't come to the wedding. The venue will only allow dogs up to ten pounds. Besides, Simba would totally jump up and grab the NY Strip and Buddha would pull at the lace on my dress.

Ready for nice weather
I know the pups love this cold weather but I am over it. Cabin fever is starting to set in. At least the dogs have plenty of toys and a new love for destroying my favorite pillows. In fact, I bought some gorgeous pillows from World Market and before I knew it they were history. No amount of training seems to be helping their love of pillows.
