I took a little time off of work to prepare for the wedding. The best thing was that I spent almost every single day with my pups. I took them everywhere and we had a lot of fun outings. Sadly, that had to come to an end and because they are destructive they had to go back into their crates. I decided to separate them and their crates were spacious and filled with toys and treats. These tactics did not work because every time I came home one of them had either peed in their crates, escaped from their crates or hurt themselves from excessive scratching. Buddha was a different story. He truly hated the crate with a passion. I set up a camera to see what he was doing and it appeared that he was slamming his body into the steel door and pull the wires with his teeth. He was actually able to bend the crate in order to get free. We used zip ties to secure the crate but he would somehow rip those. I even bought him a Thundershirt, which is supposed to help with anxiety issues. My little Houdini was somehow able to get out of the shirt and out of the crate all the time. It broke my heart to hear him crying so desperately.
One day I got home and I let the boys loose and to my dismay I smelled something foul and saw a fee drops of blood. Immediately I checked Buddha out and realized that he had broken his two upper canines while in the crate. He was panicking so badly that he broke his teeth. The next day he had to have an emergency procedure called a Vital Pulp Therapy. His beautiful teeth were restored as best as they could be and I destroyed the crate in a fit of rage and dismay.
